Screens occupy a central place in family life today. But what actual effects do they have on the development of toddlers? How can developmental disorders be prevented and healthy, thoughtful and age-appropriate use be supported in the family environment?
In order to answer these central questions and as part of the campaign “Kannerae liichten Offline méi hell”, the CNAPA, in cooperation with the Eltereschoul Janusz Korczak, the Initiativ Liewensufank and the ErwuesseBildung, and with the support of the OEuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte, organised a conference titled “Families in Dealing with Screens and Their Toddlers”, which took place on December 10, 2025 at the Parc Hôtel Alvisse. With over 150 participants, the event was a complete success.
The day began with a program specifically designed for professionals. Dr. Anne-Lise Ducanda gave a lecture titled “Growing Up in a Hyperconnected World”, followed by a panel discussion with questions from the audience.
In the evening, she also led the conference for the general public, which was dedicated to the challenges of screen use in toddlers.
