Health Promotion and Addiction Prevention in the Child and Youth Sector
Health promotion and addiction prevention in the child and youth sector start early to strengthen young people in their development and to prevent risky behavior. Particularly effective are measures that are conveyed through multipliers – i.e., educational professionals, teachers, or parents. They accompany children and young people in everyday life and have a direct influence on their health behavior.
Our Offers
We offer practical training, workshops, and consultation for multipliers. Contents include, among other things:
Basics of addiction prevention and health promotion
Recognition of risk factors and strengthening of protective factors
Motivational interviewing with children and young people on sensitive topics
Development of health-promoting structures in school and leisure time
Through these approaches, CNAPA supports sustainable prevention and helps professionals and parents to accompany children and young people on their way to a healthy and self-determined life and to shape their living environments accordingly.
Our Target Groups
Our offers are aimed at educational and psychological professionals in schools, youth facilities, clubs, and other educational contexts, and at parents. They should be enabled to integrate preventive measures into their work or family everyday life and to act as role models for health-conscious behavior.
