Cannabis Suitcase 2.0 — Methods for preventive practice
Target group:
Multipliers from the school and out-of-school context.
Description:
This seminar focuses on methods and exercises from the Cannabis Suitcase 2.0 to engage or keep in dialogue with young people about the often taboo and trivialized topic of cannabis. The Cannabis Suitcase 2.0 is designed so that the various methods can be assembled as a “construction kit”, depending on the focus set by the moderator for the group and the exercises he feels comfortable with. The modules and exercises are selected in such a way that different topics can be addressed. The following modules are included in the Cannabis Suitcase 2.0:
Module A: “Knowledge about cannabis” — this module includes methods with general information about cannabis.
Module B: “Cannabis consumption” — this module is dedicated to cannabis consumption in the narrower sense and especially its “positive” and “negative” consequences.
Module C: “Life and risk skills” — this module is not “cannabis-specific” and particularly contains exercises on certain life and risk competencies.
The exercises are interactive and can be used flexibly. Interactivity promotes the spread of preventive messages and long-term positive effects can be achieved. Pure information transfer only shows limited effects. The exchange and confrontation with young people and their living environments is important: what concerns them in everyday life and what role cannabis can play.
After the corresponding training by CNAPA, the participants can borrow the Cannabis Suitcase free of charge or buy it for 500€.
