Psychosis and substance use

Target group:

Pro­fes­sion­als from the medical or psycho-social field.

Description:

The par­tic­i­pants will be introduced to the connections between psychotic symptoms and substance use. With the help of specific exercises and case discussions, the dual diagnosis of psychosis/​substance use disorder will be examined in more detail. Sub­se­quent­ly, rec­om­men­da­tions for the treatment of and dealing with affected individuals will be presented and discussed.

Objectives:

Par­tic­i­pants should be able to recognize signs of psychosis early on and be informed about effective treatments.
