Target audience:

Teachers, educational staff, experts from the medical, psycho-social, and nursing field.

Description:

In helping professions, social-emotional com­pe­ten­cies are essential for pro­fes­sion­al dealing with people in stressful situations. This short lecture provides an overview of the importance of these skills for empathy, com­mu­ni­ca­tion, and rela­tion­ship building. Furthermore, it is shown how these com­pe­ten­cies can not only improve the quality of care, but also contribute to one’s own mental resilience and long-term job sat­is­fac­tion.
