An offer from CNAPA in cooperation with the“Ligue Santé Mentale”.
The First Aid Course for Mental Health provides basic knowledge about mental illnesses and acute crises. The aim is to enable participants to recognize mental stress early, to address those affected in an empathetic and non-judgmental manner, and to encourage them to seek professional help.
This training is not a diagnostic or therapeutic instrument, but a practical tool for early support in case of mental stress. Topics covered include, among others:
Depressions and anxiety disorders
Addiction issues
Psychotic episodes
Eating disorders
Acute crises (e.g., suicidal thoughts, panic attacks, aggressive behaviors)
Objectives:
Participants acquire basic knowledge about mental disorders in adolescence and learn how to provide first aid to adolescents and young adults in the field of mental health.
