Powerful — Addiction Prevention in School — Knowing How! C2‑4
Target group:
Teachers and staff from the psycho-socio-educational field
Description:
Our world is full of temptations — from media to sugar to medicines. Children come into contact with these at an early age, which is why health promotion and addiction prevention are essential. This training provides pedagogical professionals with effective methods to empower children and enable them to deal consciously with consumption.
The focus is on the following questions:
- What do addiction prevention and health promotion mean?
- How can these issues be sustainably integrated into children’s daily lives?
- What methods are there — and how do they work in practice?
A central component of this training is the “Power-full” program, which was specifically developed for primary schools. It offers practical materials and concepts that can be directly integrated into everyday pedagogical practice. Participants not only receive in-depth knowledge and scientifically based approaches, but are also enabled to implement the program independently.
Through a varied mix of theory and practice, reflection and action security are strengthened. After the training, participants have the appropriate materials and documents available to implement what they have learned directly in their own work — for sustainable and effective prevention.
