Description:
An offer from CNAPA in cooperation with the “Ligue Santé Mentale”.
The First Aid Course for Mental Health provides basic knowledge about mental illnesses and acute crises. The aim is to enable participants to recognize mental stress early, to address those affected in an empathetic and non-judgmental manner, and to encourage them to seek professional help.
This training is not a diagnostic or therapeutic instrument, but a practical tool for early support in case of mental stress. Topics covered include, among others:
- Depressions and anxiety disorders
- Addiction issues
- Psychotic episodes
- Acute crises (e.g., suicidal thoughts, panic attacks, aggressive behaviors)
In addition to First Aid Mental Health, CNAPA offers the following in-depth measures in a business context:
- Advice on corporate addiction prevention and psychosocial risks in the workplace
- Workshops for internal contact persons
- Training in motivational conversation – mastering difficult conversations with employees and/or colleagues
Goals:
Participants will learn:
- to recognize mental suffering
- to sensitively approach and adequately support affected individuals
- to involve professional help
