Description:

Every year, one in four people in Luxembourg suffer from a mental illness. Most people know someone in their environment who has suffered from a mental disorder or has suffered for a while. First aid courses for mental health provide the necessary skills and build confidence to approach and help a person with mental dif­fi­cul­ties.

Objectives:

The First Aid course for mental health provides basic knowledge about mental disorders and crises. Par­tic­i­pants learn to recognize problems in time, to address them without prejudice and to encourage those affected to seek pro­fes­sion­al help.
